Pricing Currency
- Each raffle has a designated Pricing Token or is priced in PP. This is the base currency used to define the cost of a single ticket.
- Common pricing tokens might be stablecoins like USDC or ecosystem tokens like $POLLY.
- You can see the pricing unit on the Raffle Card and Detail Page (e.g., “5.00 USDC”, “1000 $POLLY”, “50 PP”).
Payment Options
Even if a raffle is priced in one token (e.g., USDC), PollyPrize often allows you to pay using other convenient methods:- Native ETH: You can typically pay with Abstract’s native ETH. The system uses integrated Decentralized Exchanges (like Uniswap V2 forks) to determine the equivalent amount of ETH needed to match the ticket price in the raffle’s Pricing Token at that moment.
There might be tiny variations (slippage) in the exact number of tickets received vs. estimated when paying with ETH due to minor price fluctuations during the transaction.
- Accepted ERC20 Token: Raffles can be configured to accept payment directly in another specific ERC20 token, like $POLLY, even if priced in USDC. Similar to ETH payments, the system calculates the required amount of the accepted token based on market rates relative to the Pricing Token. Requires Token Approval.
- PP Points: If the raffle has a
Ticket Price (in PP points), you can use your earned PP balance. - Free Entry: Some raffles grant a set number of tickets for free if you meet the Gating criteria.
Where to Find the Price
- Raffle Card: Shows the price per ticket in the primary pricing unit (Token or PP).
- Raffle Detail Page: Clearly displays the price per ticket and allows you to select your payment currency (ETH, Accepted Token, PP, or Free Claim if applicable). The interface will calculate the total cost based on the number of tickets you enter.
